Dot Shirley Cooper

DOT SHIRLEY COOPER, of Cleveland, GA, died Friday, January 5, 2007 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Cooper was born in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Harvey and Geraldine Brookshire Shirley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis R. Cooper and a brother, Henry Shirley. Mrs. Cooper was retired from Talon Zipper Company as head of the payroll department. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gainesville. Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law: Tamie and Ed Roper, Cleveland, GA; her son and daughter-in-law: Milton and Emma Tolbert, Toccoa, GA; Sister and Brother-in-law: Alma and J. B. Brewer, Cornelia, GA; Brother and sister-in-law: Homer and Margaret Shirley, Baldwin, GA; Sister-in-law: Ann Shirley, Cornelia, GA; 3 grandchildren: Marsha Tolbert, Katie Morrow, and Kenny Roper; 3 great-grandchildren: Leah Roper, Ethan Roper and Jacob Crowe. Private family services will be held.
