Dorothea Shore Taylor

Dorothea Celeste Taylor, age 90, of Largo, Florida, and longtime resident of St. Pete Beach Florida, passed away January 17, 2011. Mrs. Taylor was born on November 27, 1920, Gainesville, Georgia to the late Australia and Luther Shore, Baldwin, GA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth P. Taylor, her son, Kenneth L. Taylor, her sister Imogene and her brother Tom. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the DAR, Gamma Alpha Delta Sorority, an avid porcelain painter; she attended church of the Isles and a longtime member of Pass-A-Grille Community Church. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Joe, Largo, FL; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Kimberly and Todd, 2 adorable great-grandchildren Ryan and Kiley, all of Spring, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Donald, Decatur, GA; sister-in-law, Louise, St. Louis, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside memorial services will be held at Baldwin Cemetery on June 8, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are in the care of the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
