Doris Franklin Frady

Doris Franklin Frady, age 87. of Clarkesville, GA., died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at a private care facility. Mrs. Frady was born in Franklin County, GA., on April 2, 1920, to the late Paul and Bessie Winstead Franklin. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Grady Frady, and a granddaughter, Hilda Cheek. Mrs. Frady was a homemaker. Survivors include, her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Andrew Cheek, Toccoa, GA. Two grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren also survive. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9. 2007, at 2:00 PM at the Chopped Oak Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Bearden, Rev. Austin Ivester, and the Ernest Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA., Sunday, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
