Doris Blair

DORIS BLAIR, age 88, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011. Ms. Blair was born on October 22, 1922, in Habersham County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late James Ernest and Naomi Free Blair. Ms. Blair was also preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Erford Blair. She attended Southern Business University and was in the insurance business for 46 years having retired from The London Agency, Inc. in 1988. Ms. Blair was a member of Briarcliff Baptist Church and was living at King's Bridge Retirement Community. Survivors include her sisters, Mozelle Blair, Atlanta, GA, Paralee Blair Jones, Tucker, GA, and Lois Blair Garner, Atlanta, GA and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Hazel Creek Baptist Church in Habersham County with Rev. Billy Burrell officiating.
