DONNIE DODD, age 73, of Demorest, GA passed away on Friday, November 7, 2008. Mr. Dodd was born in Alto, GA on October 21, 1935 to the late Homer James and Carmie Ruth Gailey Dodd. He was veteran having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Habersham Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday, November 9, 2008 prior to the memorial service.
