Donna Dickson

DONNA DICKSON, age 46, of Lavonia, Georgia, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mrs. Dickson was born on December 18, 1961, in Ft. Pierce, Florida, to the late Paul and Mary Compton Finger. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson, Georgia, and was a member of "The Jubalheirs." Mrs. Dickson was a nurse heavily involved in home health care, truly dedicated to her profession. Survivors include her husband, Richard Dickson, Lavonia, GA; her half-brother, Paul Finger, Chattanooga, TN. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Toccoa, Georgia, with Dr. Jim Nelson officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Bluefield, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Mrs. Dickson will be placed in the church on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. to lie in state until the funeral hour. Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
