Donald Lee Rogers

Donald Lee Rogers, age 77, of Homer, GA., passed away Monday January 12, 2015, at a local area hospital. He was born December 24, 1937 in Chatsworth, Georgia to the late Aden and Mamie Ledford Rogers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister. He was a retired commercial contractor with 50 years of service. Mr. Rogers is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sandy S. Rogers, daughters and sons in law, Vicki and Danny Hogg of Commerce, Georgia, Sandra and Cecil Hudson, Sr. of Mobile, Alabama, daughter, Janet Williams of Loganville, Georgia, daughters and sons in law, Pam and Robbie Sauls of Charlotte, North Carolina, Diana (Dede) and Blaine Poffenberger of Homer, Georgia; brother, John Rodgers of High Falls, Georgia; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel in Baldwin, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour on that day.
