Donald J. Horne

Donald J. Horne, age 66, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015. Mr. Horne was born on March 1, 1949 in Buffalo, NY to the late Henry and Beatrice Weber Horne. He was a member of BC Grant Baptist Church. He was also retired owner and operator of D.J. Horne Home Improvement with 45 years of service. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, and two brothers. Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Sandra Ivie Bellamy Horne, of Cornelia; daughters, Frances Willis, of Baldwin; Elaine Bellamy, of Cornelia; Lisa Burch, of Tonawanda, NY; Roxanne Trieteley, of Tonawanda, NY; son, D.J. Horne, of Tonawanda, NY; special grandchildren, Josh Moore, Jessica Willis Davis; 7 other grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2015 at BC Grant Baptist Church with Rev. Doyal Conley and Rev. Bradley Elliott officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Daniel Parker officiating. The family will receive friends at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2015.
