Donald E. Gunn

DONALD E. GUNN, age 84, of Mount Airy, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Mr. Gunn was born on September 25, 1928, in Habersham County, to the late Everett and Violet Vinson Gunn. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Gunn; sister, Margaret Taylor; and brother, Kenneth Gunn. Mr. Gunn was a retired former owner of Northside Mobile Home Park. Survivors include his daughter, Susan Simmons; sons, Terry Gunn and his wife, Margaret, and Lawrence N. Gunn; sister, Elizabeth Harris; and grandchildren, James Simmons and his wife, Dana, Hurley Donald Gunn, and James Bond. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Dr. Tom Mewborn officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
