Dolly Sigers Aiken

DOLLY SIGERS AIKEN, age 85, of Cornelia, GA, died Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at the residence. Mrs. Aiken was born on September 29, 1920 in Banks County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by a son, Randall C. Jordan. Mrs. Aiken was a member of the B.C. Grant Baptist Church where she was very active in her Sunday School Class and WMU. She was employed 15 years with the Habersham County Board of Education as Migrate Program Educator. Survivors include: her husband, Rev. Ed L. Aiken, Cornelia, GA; Daughters and Sons-in-law: Marilyn and Aubrey Motz, III, Clarkesville, GA; Carolyn and Milton Stewart, Lecanto, FL; Shirley and Arnold Meeks, Cornelia, GA; Gail and Larry Smith, Baldwin, GA; Son and Daughter-in-law: Donnie and Mary Jordan, Venice, FL; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, February 23, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Billy Harris and Rev. Doyle Conley officiating. Burial will follow in the B. C. Grant Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2006.
