Dilmus Lamar Allen

DILMUS ALLEN, age 54, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011. Mr. Allen was born in Stephens County, on May 18, 1957, to the late William Ernest and Kathleen Everett Allen. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Allen was formerly employed with Lumite Corporation with 15 years of service. Survivors include his daughter, Brandy Allen, Cornelia, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Kimberly Allen, Baldwin, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Ray Davis, and Renee and Ronnie Hogg, both of Demorest, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Tonya Allen, Mobile, AL; two grandchildren, Chastity and Sidney Allen, ten nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Eugene Moore and Rev. Marty Pressley officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Terry Benfield officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
