Diane King

Diane King, age 56, of Cornelia, GA, died Monday, January 18, 2010 at a private care facility following an extended illness. Mrs. King was born on March 10, 1953 in Chamblee, Georgia to the late Henry C., Jr. and Selma Barrett King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wesley King, her infant brother, Bradley King, her sister, Jackie King Wallace, and an infant sister, Patricia King. Mrs. King was of the Baptist faith and was a retired waitress. Survivors include: her daughter: Nicole Flowers, Oxford, GA; her sisters and brothers-in-law: Janice and Mack Morris, Lula, GA; Wanda and Ricky Ayers, Conyers, GA; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Stanley and Joan King, Cumming, GA; Greg and Tracey King, Commerce, GA; her grandchild: Triston Ayers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January, 20, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA, with Rev. Darvin Slaton and Rev. Paul Youngblood officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the North Chapel from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 and again from 12 noon until the funeral hour on Wednesday, January 20, 2010.
