Dereta Garrett Page, age 57, of Mt. Airy, GA Went to be with The Lord Friday, January 29, 2016 following an extended illness. Mrs. Page was born on February 11, 1958 in Franklin, NC to the late Duel and Irene Edwards Garrett. She was a member of Mercy Baptist Church, and had been employed with Kubota, Sugar Foods, and most recently, North Georgia Technical College. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Page was preceded in death by her brother, Otis Garrett. She is survived by her husband, Ricky Page of Mt. Airy; son, Tyson Page of Winder; sister, Duelene Garrett Burton of Mt. Airy; brother, Wayne Garrett of Commerce; and grandchild, Levi Page. Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Mercy Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Helton officiating.The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour on that day.
