Dennis David Mcentire

DENNIS DAVID MCENTIRE, age 66, of Demorest, Georgia passed away peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2010, following a brief illness. Mr. McEntire was born on December 4, 1943, in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Tom and Gertrude Eller McEntire. He was also preceded in death by his son, Michael David McEntire and brothers, Ralph, Reese, and Clyde McEntire. Mr. McEntire was of the Holiness Faith. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Teresa Scroggs McEntire, Demorest, GA; daughter, Shebra Parker of Georgia; daughter-in-law, Keisha Robbins, Cleveland, GA; sister, Hazel Hogan, Toccoa, GA; 5 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with Rev. J.R. Elrod officiating. Interment will follow in Old Nacoochee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, 2010, and on Monday, August 9, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
