David Anthony Grant

DAVID ANTHONY "TONY" GRANT, age 59, of Baldwin, GA, died Monday, December 15, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Grant was born on January 13, 1949 in Toccoa, Georgia to the late J. C. and Tonnie Lillian Kessler Grant. He was a graduate of South Habersham High School. Mr. Grant was a member of the Mt. Airy Lodge #141 F & A M and the Mountaineer Shrine Club, a Scottish Rite Club. He was a life member of the Whittington Gun Club. Mr. Grant was the Co-Owner of G & L Automotive for 30 years. Survivors include: his sister and brother-in-law: Wanda and Mickey Watkins, Cornelia, GA; his sister: Alice Kay Grant, San Antonio, TX; James Charles Grant, Baldwin, GA. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2008 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Terrell Simmons and Rev. Paul Bryson officiating. Interment will follow in the Level Grove Cemetery with Masonic grave rites provided by the Mt. Airy Masonic Lodge #141.
