DARRELL LAMAR LOVELL, age 56, of Lake Burton, GA passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010. Mr. Lovell was born in Hickory, NC on July 20, 1954. He was an Army National Guard and a tire sales man with Pritchett Tire in Clayton, GA. Survivors include wife, Dawn Lovell, Lake Burton, GA; parents, Lamar and Patsy Lovell, Taylorsville, NC; son, Adam Nix and Fiancé, Amanda Thomas, Lula, GA; a granddaughter, Kira Scott, Lake Burton, GA, whom he loved as a daughter; twin sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and J.C. Cagle, Hickory, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Jerry Carter, Graniteville, SC; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sue Lovell, Wilkesboro, NC; a very special Uncle and Aunt, Jesse and Joanne Lovell, Gainesville, GA. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, from 6-8:30 p.m., at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Darrell Lovell Memorial Fund 6437 Grove Street, Lula.
