Danny Carter

Danny Carter, age 60, of Suches, Georgia, formerly of Banks County, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Mr. Carter was born on October 12, 1956, in Stephens County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Otho Carter and Ruby Ausburn Cochran. Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Carter, Clarkesville, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Curtis Eller, Baldwin, GA; brothers, David Carter and Troy Carter, both of Carnesville, GA; and grandchildren: Brandi Ayers, Bryan Ayers, and Emma Delock. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Daniel Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the funeral home.
