Dallie Allen Cragg

DALLIE ALLEN CRAGG, age 95, of Alto, Georgia, died Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at a local medical center. Mrs. Cragg was born on November 18, 1910 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late R. H. and Julie Benfield Allen. She was the widow of Mr. C. R. Cragg and was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Mrs. Cragg was the oldest member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include: her daughters: Rosetta Barrett, Angie Galloway, and Sandra McClellan, all of Alto, GA; Joan Poore, Lula, GA; Shirley Ledford, Demorest, GA; Cathy LaPrade, Cornelia, GA; her sons: Rembert Cragg and Isaac Cragg, both of Alto, GA; Brother: Doc Allen, Demorest, GA; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2006 from the Cross Roads Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Lee Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Ray Davis officiating at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday.
