Connie W. Jamerson, age 88, of Alto, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 following an extended illness. Mrs. Jamerson was born on August 21, 1932 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Judson and Sally Davidson Simmons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leon SImmons, Archie SImmons, Ray Simmons, Dorsey Simmons, Perry Simmons, Hammond Simmons; sister, Virginia Payne. Mrs. Jamerson was a member of the Yonah C.H. Church. She was a 1950 Graduate of Lula Highschool. She was retired from the Hall County Board of Education with 10 years of service. Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Jesse Jamerson, Sr.., of Alto; son and daughter-in-law, Jesse Jamerson, Jr. and Linda, of Alto; grandchildren, Tripp Jamerson, of Cornelia; Alex Jamerson, of Alto; and sister, Betty Jordan, of Alto. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Pastor Howard Payne and Pastor Delmer Simmons officiating.Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., onSunday, April 18, 2021 at the funeral home.
