Colette "Shellie" Henson

COLETTE "SHELLIE" HENSON, age 45, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015. Ms. Henson was born on March 17, 1969 in Phoenix, Arizona to Dean and Terry Harding. She was employed at The Oaks at Scenic View Health Care as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her adopted father, Don Roberts and wife, Chris, of Missouri; step-mother Adella Harding, of Cheyenne, WY.; daughter, Heather Henson, of Alto, GA.; sisters, Cassie Carter, JoAnn Adey, and Cheryl Pounds, all of Houston, MO., Karen Dingess, of Ohio, and Lisa Antoine, of Henderson, KY.; half sister, Rhonda Harding, of Phoenix, AZ.; brothers, Jesse Roberts, of Tucson, AZ., Mark Roberts, of Alaska, and Donald Roberts, of Anaheim, CA.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Demorest City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015 and come as you are.
