Clelmer Hayes Powell

Clelmer Hayes Powell, age 81, of Mt. Airy died Sunday, June 17, 2007 Grady Hospital, Atlanta. Mr. Powell was born on November 8, 1925 in Troup County, Georgia, to the late George Monroe and Cora Craft Powell. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Powell was a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran. He was a retired Civil Service Aircraft Electronics employee with 25 years of service. Survivors include: his four daughters: Sue Powell, Demorest, GA, Carol Humphrey, Byron, GA, Jean Powell, Mt. Airy, GA Gwen Clark, Mt. Airy, GA; one son: Danny Powell, Mt. Airy; one sister: Opal Smith, Valley, AL; one brother: Glenn Powell, Warner Robins, GA; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be at a later Date.
