Claris Adel Michael

CLARIS ADEL MICHAEL, age 91, of Lula, GA, and formerly of Marshall County, Alabama, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Michael was born on January 30, 1916 in Marshall County, Alabama to the late George and Bertie Berry Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer C. Michael. Mrs. Michael was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her daughters: Jenette Michael, Lula, GA; Annette Kolbeck, Gainesville, GA; Omie D. Hamer, Irondale, AL; Margaret Pendley, Cleveland, GA; Myra Wilkerson, Oakwood, GA; her sons: Arzell Michael, College Park, GA; Delbert Michael, Albertville, AL; Noel Michael, Monticello, GA; Kenneth Michael, Hiram, GA; Jason Michael, Griffin, GA; Randall Michael, Dallas, GA; Ricky Michael, Marietta, GA; 35 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2007 from Marshall Funeral Home, Albertville, Alabama. Burial will follow in the New Canaan Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Marshall Memorial Funeral Home from 7 to 9 on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Thursday, March 22, 2007.
