CLARENCE ALBERT MANNING, age 69, of Demorest, GA died Friday, February 23, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Manning was born on September 16, 1937 to the late Virgil Linzy and Ludie Mae Wallace Manning. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister Jeanette Berger and a brother Hubert Manning. Mr. Manning was an evangelist and a member and co-pastor of the Living Faith Sanctuary. He was the owner and operator of CAM Framing Company. Survivors include: his wife: Doris Manning, Demorest, GA; his daughters: Tina King and Lisa Johnson, both of Demorest, GA; his daughter and son-in-law: Marie and Nathan Nicholson, Demorest, GA; his son and daughter-in-law: Linzy and Shirley Manning, Demorest, GA; his sister: Evelyn Burns, Shakerag, GA; his brothers: Jerry Manning, Skakerag, GA and W. R. Hyder, Cumming, GA; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2007, from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Pastor Olivia Christopherson, Pastor Orr Harrington, and Evangelist Morris C. Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Arrangments are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
