Clarence Lee Mills

CLARENCE LEE MILLS, age 82, of Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2011, at the Habersham County Medical Center, following an extended illness. Mr. Mills was born on June 30, 1929, in Forsyth County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Yerb and Nora Teasley Mills, five brothers, and six sisters. Mr. Mills was a self-employed cabinet maker and a member of the Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Church in Clarkesville, Georgia. Survivors include his loving wife, Imogene Ramey Mills, Baldwin, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra M. and David H. Groover, Baldwin, GA; and grandson, Stacey David Groover, Baldwin, GA. Mr. Mills was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Janice Sudderth and Rev. Carlton Waters officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at the North Chapel.
