Clara "Zona" Savage

CLARA "ZONA" SAVAGE, age 88, of Baldwin, GA, died Monday, August 21, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Savage was born on November 16, 1917 in Nashville, Indiana to the late Fred and Mary Russell Patterson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bud Freeman Savage. Mrs. Savage was a retired civil service employee with the United States Air Force with 25 years of service. She was a member of the B. C. Grant Baptist Church. Survivors include: her sisters: Jean Reutter, Cissna Park, IL; Mary Dudley, Loda, IL; A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2006 from the B. C. Grant Baptist Church with Rev. Doyle Conley and Rev. Billy Harris officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the fellowship hall of B. C. Grant Baptist Church. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Program, P. O. Box 195, Baldwin, GA 30511 or to the B. C. Grant Baptist Church, P.O. Box 456, Cornelia, GA 30531.
