Chuck Jenkins

CHARLES EDWARD "CHUCK" JENKINS, age 67, of Piedmont, SC, and formerly of Demorest, GA, died Friday, September 26, 2008 following a sudden illness. Mr. Jenkins was born on April 10, 1941 in Fairmont, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irma and Joe Pileggi, a brother, Butch Reese of West Virginia and father-in-law, Lewis Smith of Demorest, GA. Mr. Jenkins was a United States Navy veteran and was retired from International Security Management Group where he served as the Northeast Georgia area supervisor. He was an avid sports fan, good golfer, and wonderful husband. Survivors include: his wife: Beverly Smith Jenkins, Piedmont, SC and formerly of Demorest, GA; his mother-in-law: Kathryn Smith, Baldwin, GA; his brothers: Mitchell Smith and Michael Edwards, Atlanta, GA; his daughter: Kim Jenkins Jones, Myrtle Beach, SC area; his sons: Chuck Jenkins, II; Donnie Jenkins; and Jim Kline, all of Myrtle Beach, SC area; Chris Jenkins and Scott Jenkins, Florida; his sister: Brenda Jenkins, Fairmont, WV; and several grandchildren. Graveside memorial services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, November 8, 2008 from Yonah Memorial Gardens.
