CHRISTOPHER L. CATHEY, age 28, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013. Christopher was born on July 8, 1984, in Demorest, Georgia; son of Donald and Sherry Cathey of Clarkesville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Marvin Cathey and Lois Ann Pruitt and his sister, Amy L. Cathey. Christopher was a member of New and Living Way FourSquare Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Alexis L. Cathey, Clarkesville, GA and his maternal grandparents, Linda and Hershel Key, Mt. Airy, GA. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Pastor Mike Garroutte officiating.
