Christine Andrews Wilkinson

CHRISTINE ANDREWS WILKINSON, age 89, of Baldwin, GA, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Habersham County Medical Center. Mrs. Wilkinson was born on October 28, 1917 in Banks County, GA to the late Cleve and Viola Ward Andrews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Wilkinson, a son, Grover Edward "Jake" Wilkinson, sisters, Rumyrthe Wilbanks, June White and Mildred Andrews, as well as brothers, Carmon Andrews and Lincoln Andrews. She was a member of the Lamar Christian Church; there she taught Sunday School for a number of years. Mrs. Wilkinson was a homemaker. Survivors include: her sons and daughters-in-law: Tommy and Mary Wilkinson and Jerry and Dianne Wilkinson, all of Baldwin, GA; her sister: Mary Parker, Baldwin, GA; 4 grandchildren: Kelly Peppers, Robert Wilkinson, Patrick Wilkinson, and Melissa Edmonds, all of Baldwin. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2007 from the Lamar Christian Church with **John DuBose officiating. Burial will follow in the Tate's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
