Christine Wilbanks

Christine Wilbanks, age 90, Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014. Miss. Wilbanks was born on June 12, 1923, in Baldwin Georgia; daughter of the late Gilliam T. and Samantha Payne Wilbanks. She was also preceded in death by brothers; Travis Wilbanks, Sevier Wilbanks, T. R. Wilbanks, Virgil Wilbanks, G. T. Wilbanks; sisters, Vernice Wilkinson, Estelle Newsome, Avoline Chitwood. Miss. Wilbanks was a member of Broad River Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her sisters, Ruby Gailey, Baldwin and Elsie Mae Andrews, Baldwin. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Billy Burrell and Rev. Connie Berry officiating. Interment will follow in Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014.
