Christine Pilgrim

Christine Pilgrim, age 63, of Gainesville, GA, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Pilgrim was born on October 4, 1945 in Blue Ridge, Georgia to the late Edgar and Arlene Green Thrasher. She was a retired seamstress and a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include: her husband: Lewis Pilgrim, Gainesville, GA; her daughter: Margo Garner, Gainesville, GA; her brother: Roger Lynn Thrasher, Powder Springs, GA; her grandchildren: Michael Pilgrim, Kristie Garner, and Christopher Garner. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 from the Church of Latter Day Saints, 1234 Riverside Drive, Gainesville, GA 30501, with Bishop David Bassett officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia from 5 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
