Christine "Teny" Jordan

Christine "Teny" Jordan, age 89, of Lula, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017. Ms. Jordan was born on November 18, 1927 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Dock and Rose Crocker Jordan. In addition to her parents, Ms. Jordan was preceded in death by her sisters, Ida Jordan, Lillie Watkins, and Suler Wade; brothers, Reuben Jordan, and Roger Dock Jordan. Ms. Jordan was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was of the Holiness Faith. Ms. Jordan was retired from Carwood Manufacturing Company with over 40 years of loyal and dedicated service. Survivors include her special nephew, Wendell Jordan, and his wife Sheryl, of Gainesville; special sister-in-law, Viola Jordan, of Lula; and numerous other nephews and nieces. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Charles Jordan and Wendy Burell officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the funeral home.
