Chester Douglas (Doug) Barron

Chester Douglas (Doug) Barron, 77, of Alto, Georgia went to his heavenly home on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Mr. Barron was born on February 22, 1948 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Chester and Rosell Barron.

Doug dedicated many years of his life to his business, A1 Tires. Doug had a deep love for his loyal companion, "Rosie", along with NASCAR, and reminiscing about his dad's racing days. His generosity and willingness to help others were hallmarks of his character, and he touched countless lives with his warmth and kindness. Above all, Doug's greatest joy was his family. He will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him as a father, grandfather and friend.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Kristina Barron, of Demorest, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Trina Barron, of Parker, CO; son, Mark Barron, of Old Hickory, TN; daughter, Brooke Hicks, of Gainesville, GA; along with eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Baldwin Baptist Church, Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
