Charles Davie Reece

CHARLES DAVIE REECE, age 66, of Cornelia, GA, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010, at a local medical center. Mr. Reece was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on December 17, 1943, to the late J.D. and Anna Lee Freeman Reece. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Sue Reece and a sister, Loretta McDougald. Mr. Reece was of the protestant faith and a United States Army Veteran. He was the previous owner and operator of Affordable Towing of Cornelia. Survivors include wife, Carolyn Barrett Reece, of Cornelia, GA; daughters, Kaye Patterson, Toccoa, GA, Sandra Marie Reece, Clarkesville, GA, and Juanita Reece, Toccoa, GA; son, Kenneth Charles Reece, Clarkesville, GA; step-sons, James Kimsey, Demorest, GA; Lee Kimsey, Lavonia, GA; 9 grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
