Charles J. Hollingsworth, Jr.

CHARLES J. HOLLINGSWORTH, JR., age 76, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Mr. Hollingsworth was born in Porterdale, GA on November 20, 1934, to the late Charles J. Hollingsworth, Sr. and Doris Jeffares Hollingsworth. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cornelia, where he served as an Elder and was also very involved with Sharing and Caring. Mr. Hollingsworth was a wholesale broker. Survivors include wife, Annette Louise Hollingsworth, Cornelia, GA; and brother, Murray C. Hollingsworth,Griffin, GA. "He had no children of his own, but was a father and mentor to many. " Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2011, at the First Presbyterian Church of Cornelia, GA with Rev. Blaine Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
