Charles R. Eller

CHARLES R. ELLER, age 67, of Demorest, GA, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 following an extended illness. Mr. Eller was born on September 5, 1941 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Roosevelt Monroe and Pauline Nations Eller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Darlene Eller and a brother, James Eller. Mr. Eller was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired police officer. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: his wife: Shirley Eller, Demorest, GA; his daughters: Regina Sumpter, Demorest, GA; Angie Irvin, Mt. Airy, GA; his son: Keith Eller, Demorest, GA; his sister: Frances West, Cleveland, GA; his grandchildren: Shane Sumpter, Ashley Sumpter, Amber Eller, Heather Eller, Kyle Irvin, and Lindsey Irvin. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2008 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Bill Trotter officiating. Interment will follow in the Amy's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 until 5 and 7 until 9 p.m. on Thursday.
