Charles Eugene Decker

CHARLES EUGENE DECKER, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, in Mount Airy, Georgia. Mr. Decker was born on March 21, 1932, in Savannah, Georgia. He retired from Kaiser Chemical Company and the Chatham County Government. In 1994, he then retired to North Georgia. Mr. Decker is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Jerry M. Decker. He is also survived by his loving family, Angie Decker Sellers (Richard), Patricia Decker Catalano (Phillip), Celeste Decker, Dina Fogarty Vassil (Vince), James Fogarty, Jr. (Stacy), Brian Fogarty (Lisa), Stacey Fogarty Wexler (Iric), and Kevin Fogarty (Allison). He was the grandfather of eleven grandchildren, who lovingly call him "Poppie". A mass will be held in his honor on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.
