Charles R. Colston

Charles R. Colston, age 47, of Cornelia, GA, died Friday, January 22, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Colston was born on March 29, 1962 in Demorest, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Lonzo Colston. Mr. Colston was of the Baptist faith and was a retired landscaper. Survivors include: his mother: Mary Frances Mullinax Colston, Cornelia, GA; his brother and sister-in-law: Danny Ray and Jan Colston, Demorest, GA; his nephew: Drew Colston, Demorest, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Pastor Robert Hicks and Pastor Wesley Purcell officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the North Chapel from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2010.
