Charles Earl Alexander

Charles Earl Alexander, age 81, of Alto, GA., died Sunday, June 11, 2006, at the residence. Mr. Alexander was born in Lake County, Florida, on August 27, 1924, to the late Arthur and Dorothy Hunt Alexander. He was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church. Mr. Alexander was a veteran of W.W. II, having served in the U.S. Navy and was a life member of the Grant Reeves V.F.W. Post 7720. He was employed with Jacky Jones Ford, Cleveland, GA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by a son, Ray Charles Alexander. Survivors include, Mr. Alexander's wife, Mary Holcomb Alexander, Alto, GA.; one son and daughter - in-law, Wayne Daniel and Lesia Carol Alexander, Alto, GA.; two daughters, Janice Diane Martin, Grove City, Ohio, Jackie Loggins, Cleveland, GA.; three brothers, Elbert Alexander, Florida, Edwin Alexander, Arkansas, John A. Alexander, Tennessee; three sisters, Edith Miller, California, Eunice Tarrents, Tennessee, Edna Archbell, Florida; two grandchildren, LAtree Alexander and Donovan Alexander. A private interment was held, Sunday, June 11, 2006, from the V.F.W. Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
