Chanh Tenakoun

Chanh Tenakoun, age 85, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016. Mr. Tenakoun was born on February 1, 1931, in Vientiane, Laos, to the late Bou and Onta Tenakoun. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Vanhthong Tenakoun. Mr. Tenakoun was a retired electrician and a member of the Budhha Sattha Temple. Survivors include his daughters: Soukanh Tenakoun, Noumanh Tenakoun, and Nancy Thammasone; sons: Bounpanh Tenakoun and Soubanh Tenakoun; brother: Savath Tenakoun; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, 1370 Industrial Boulevard, Baldwin, Georgia, with the Budhha Sattha Monks officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-5 pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at the funeral home.
