Cenie Ruth Butler

CENIE RUTH BUTLER, age 75, of Cleveland, GA formerly of Alto, GA died Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Lanier Park Hospital, Gainesville GA following an extended illness. Miss Butler was born on September 25, 1931 in Hall County, GA to the late Archie Monroe and Tinnic Elliott Butler. She was also preceded in death by four brothers: Claude, Dean, Bill, Pratt Butler and five sisters: Dora Bell Parker, Adell Hill, Jean Dorsey, Jessie Mae Alexander and Lucy Turner. Miss Butler attended Yonah Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors include: one sister: Lottie Turner, Alto, GA, two brothers: Paul Butler, Oakwood, GA and Gus Butler, Lula, GA and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with the Rev. Keith Reems. Burial will follow in the Yonah Congregational Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA on Monday, December 11, 2006 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
