CECILIA KATHLEEN UNDERWOOD, age 83, of Mt. Airy, GA died Thursday, February 23, 2006 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Underwood was born on June 10, 1922 in Habersham County, GA. She was the daughter of the late Paul Loudermilk and Winnie Landers Loudermilk and was also preceded in death by her husband, Luther Underwood. Mrs. Underwood was a self-employed in caring for children. She was of the Holiness Faith. Survivors include: 1 daughter: Bonnie Jean Croy, Mt. Airy, GA, 1 son: Lewis Underwood, Mt. Airy, GA, 4 sisters: Louise Shirley, Hollywood, GA, Ovaline York, Mt. Airy, GA, Shirley Hopper, Jonesboro, GA, Pauline Carroll, Orman Beach, FL, 4 brothers, Quentin Loudermilk, Harbor Beach, MI, Kenneth Loudermilk, MI, Dewitt Loudermilk, Detroit, MI, Efford Loudermilk, Cornelia, GA, 4 grandchildren: Angela Thomason, Carnesville, GA; Kimberly Collins, Mt. Airy, GA; Melissa Chitwood, Cornelia, GA; Bobby Underwood, Cleveland, GA; 6 great-grandchildren: Kaylee Thomason, Jasmine Thomason, Candace Thomason, Dustin Eller, Carson Collins, Zachary Chitwood. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2006 from the Cornelia Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Scott Ledbetter and Rev. Sanford Kimbrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
