Causby G Shook

CAUSBY GRADY SHOOK, age 95, of Clarkesville, GA, died Sunday, July 23, 2006 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Shook was born February 16, 1911 in Rabun County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Charlie and Lona Moreland Shook. He was also preceded in death by two wives: Beulah Trotter Shook and Bessie Stamey Shook; one sister: Hestena White, and three brothers: Rosevelt Shook, Clyde Shook and Felton Shook. Mr. Shook was involved in road construction. Survivors include: one son, Grady Shook, Clarkesville, GA, one sister: Azilee Burch, Hiawassee, GA and three grandchildren: Heath Shook, Johnson City, TN, Jeremy Shook, Cornelia, GA and Mary Landry, Gainesville, GA. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel , Demorest with Rev. Jonathan Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. Monday, July 24, 2006.
