Carolyn Stewart Brock

CAROLYN STEWART BROCK, age 54, of Alto, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at her residence following a sudden illness. Mrs. Brock was born on September 18, 1958, in Demorest, Georgia; daughter of the late James and Christine Marie Powell Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Brock and her brothers, Glen Stewart and Ray Stewart. Mrs. Brock was a dedicated mother and grandmother and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Chasity and Adam Davis, Cornelia, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, June and J.L. Garrett, Homer, GA, Frances and Jimmy Moon, Statham, GA, and Betty and Doug Amick, Alto, GA; sisters, Diane Johnson, Cornelia, GA, Wanda Stewart, Winder, GA, and Linda Stewart, Helen, GA; brother, Tony Randall Stewart, Winder, GA; and grandchildren, Cailyn RayAnn Rice and Addison Brooke Davis. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Leatherwood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, and from 9:30-11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at the funeral home.
