Carol Faulkner Chapman

CAROL FAULKNER CHAPMAN, age 95, of Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011, in Duluth, Georgia. Mrs. Carol F. Chapman was born on March 10, 1916, in Hall County, Georgia. She was a daughter of the late Newton Cicero and Mattie Pittman Faulkner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Chapman and her son-in-law, Carol Everton. Mrs. Chapman worked as a supervisor at Mt. Vernon Mills for several years and was a member of the Baldwin Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Yvonne Everton, Baldwin, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Brenda Chapman, Toccoa, GA and Dwight and Dorothy "Dede" Chapman, Alpharetta, GA; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Frank Sailers and Rev. Scott Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Baldwin Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at the funeral home.
