Carl Caudell

CARL CAUDELL, age 85, of Cornelia, Georgia died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at a private care facility. Mr. Caudell was born on September 8, 1921 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Walter and Ola Watts Caudell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wydene Cook and a brother, Arthur Caudell. Mr. Caudell was a United States Army World War II veteran. He was a life member of the Grant Reeves V.F.W. Post #7720 and a member of the Harmony Baptist Church. Mr. Caudell was retired from the Cornelia Coca-Cola Bottling Company with 32 years of service. Survivors include: his wife: Bernice Anderson Caudell, Cornelia, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was the last member of immediate family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Blaine Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
