Brenda Vinson Lacount

BRENDA GAIL VINSON LACOUNT, age 63, of Alto, GA, died Sunday, April 26, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. LaCount was born on August 2, 1945 in Demorest, Georgia to the late Tome Vinson and Beatrice Cantrell Vinson Erwin. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her daughters: Vanessa Duncan, Cornelia, GA; Sheena Weaver, South Carolina; Emily Long, Toccoa, GA; her sisters: Linda Bateman, Hartwell, GA; Elizabeth Shackelford, Toccoa, GA; Darlene Colley, Mt. Airy, GA; her brothers: Roger "Russ" Vinson, Cornelia, GA; Eddie Vinson, Alto, GA; her grandchildren: Curtis Long, Alto, GA; David Barrett, Camp Lejeune, NC; Kevin Weaver, Jr. and Sabastian Weaver, both of South Carolina. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Truman Humphries officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel in Baldwin from 7 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
