Bouaphan Phouangphet

MRS. BOUAPHAN PHOUANGPHET, age 92, of Alto, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at Habersham County Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Phouangphet was born on January 1, 1918, in Laos. She was a member of Wat Lao Khambouengheung Temple. Mrs. Phouangphet was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Fong Menorath; 3 daughters in Laos; 1 son in Laos; and 3 grandchildren, Thong Phouangphet, Phonsack Phouangphet, and Boonyong Phouangphet. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with Monks from the Wat Lao Khambouengheung Temple and Leaders of the Habersham County Lao Families Association officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
