Boua Luangpraseut

Boua Luangpraseut, age 79, of Cornelia, GA passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010, at Habersham County Medical Center. Mrs. Luangpraseut was born on May 10, 1931 in Laos. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Boomer Touralack and her son-in-law, Andrew Phouthong. She was a member of Wat Lao Budha Sattha and a homemaker. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and John Touralack, Seng and Bountheung Khamvongsa, and Elena and James Thamprasith; daughters, Chansay Phengpavanh, Khay Phouthong, and Khamsay Khamvongsa; son and daughter-in-law, Viengsay and Vongmany Luangpraseut; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with the Monks officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010, and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
