BONNIE MASON FOSTER, age 73, of Cobblestone Lane, Demorest, Georgia, died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center after a three year battle with breast cancer. Mrs. Foster was born on March 21, 1935 in Peoria, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Mason, a daughter, Lauren Foster, and her step-father, Fred Cravens. Mrs. Foster was the first female engineering graduate from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering. She was a native of Peoria, Illinois but had resided in Georgia for the past 30 years having resided in Habersham County for 21 years. Mrs. Foster was the former co-owner of Balok Printing in Clarkesville, Georgia with 13 years of dedicated service. Survivors include: her husband: Larry Foster, Demorest, Georgia; her mother: Erlene Caskey Mason Cravens, Peoria, Illinois; her daughter and son-in-law: Liz Foster Martin and Rusty Martin, Cumming, GA; her grandchildren: Aly and Reed Martin, Cumming, GA; her sister-in-law: Lois Selzer, Des Plaines, IL; A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
