Bobby G. Lacey

BOBBY G. LACEY, age 83, of Tates Creek Community in Banks County, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015. Mr. Lacey was born on March 17, 1932 in Cobb County, Georgia to the late E. D. and Edna Brown Lacy. He was also preceded in death by three brothers. Mr. Lacey had served in the United States National Guard. He was a retired letter carrier with the United States Postal Service with 34 years of service. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Bonnie Kesler Lacey, Toccoa, GA; three children; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 pm on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Friday, September 4, 2015.
